Adventures in the sun
Haha. I am half drunk still. My Lord it's been a while since I've had any kind of alcohol in my system. I really shouldn't do this too often. Sigh. I blame Kevy. Okay okay I poured my own cup. Shoot me.
I'll start from the beginning.
It was a nice sunny and very very hot day. I had to go develop some film. Yes I still have a film camera. *very sad face*
I needed stuff for my work that I should be doing this weekend. I got to Curepe and found out that the place doesn't do one hour processing. Had to go to Grand Bazaar.
You know how I love that mall so. So so much. *grumble* Not too pleased aboout my choice of footwear, I trudged along in very hot sun toward the taxi stand. On the way I spotted the biggest fucking rat pop out from behind a building and duck into the canal. Gawd.
By the time I got in the taxi I was almost a puddle. Ugh. Heat bad. No a/c in the taxi was just torturous, coupled with traffic along the Southern Main Road. Yech. Also realised that the fare had been raised. Actually I began to worry that it was $4 when I saw the other passengers handing over money, but it was $3. Phew!
While I waited for my film to get processed I walked around a little. Window shopping mostly. It was just a big ploy to get air condition really. Dammit. Need money. Pretty things. I did manage to get a headset though. I had been meaning to get one for ages but was just too cheap and lazy. Got it for a good price though so I'm happy. Testing is even more fun.
Skype - I'm not sure yet. I think I have to do proper testing. Stef called me for like 3 seconds. Hehe so I have to bug some more folks. Not sure how local to local is working. Yahoo is fair once the other person is on high speed. I tried it with my local friend and it was totally fucking up. We'll have to see and do further testing though. Any takers? J come here dammit!!!
