Setting Off Alarms
I started the day quite wonderfully with a nightmare about my exam and some snakes. Oddly enough these are not my favourite dream topics. Imagine that. I had really hoped the exam wouldn't be bad despite stinky dream. It was. Okay maybe not. It wasn't a bad exam - it was just me. Stupid writer. Unable-to-write-freak. My brain has not done this forever - I should not be excused though. *sigh*
Met up with Dre and Kram after exam and at least I got to laugh a little bit. Yay! Go them.
One other highlight of the day was seeing uber-hottie for 2 seconds and that whole smile thing. Me being as depressed as I was - well that wasn't too inspiring.
I went to try to do some more work at CCFA after a very exhausting exam. I just sat there sketching as hard as I could and not getting anywhere. Took a walk around the buildings to take some pictures for future reference (when I actually do the pieces). Lo and behold suddenly an alarm goes off. I looked around suspiciously. I had touched nothing. The guard was walking towards me with an interesting/frustrated look on her face.
"You walked there didn't you?" (Course not!)
"Why yes I was taking some pictures" (Yes and am very bloody frustrated and tired - wanna go home)
"Oh there's a beam that runs across there. You must have set it off." (Duh)
"Oooohhh kayyy" (Shit lemme get outta here!)
So that was what the chain across was for. But still they've got to be kidding.. I walked through from the other way - and there was no sign, no chain...nada. How stupid.
So the alarm went on for 5 annoying minutes. Good thing I didn't touch anything. A girl can't try to get a good shot in peace.
I got home so exhausted. I sat down and played some Spider Soliatire - which I now understand Dars, is very bloody addictive. My cousin came over earlier than expected so I didn't get a chance to have a little nap.
We chilled and talked and watched Red Dragon. Ralph Fiennes running around tattooed and naked. Hello! Okay but the rest of the movie wasn't bad. Yes I am a gaper leave me alone.
We were watching The Animatrix and I was there cuddled up on my bed drifting in and out of sleep. Not cool. As soon as he left I dropped into bed like a sack of potatoes and headed to dreamland.
