time off

Escape from the ordinary to a most wonderful spontaneous outing to the East coast. I really needed that - after all I've been working overtime in order to be able to do this. The water is really high - even in Mayaro. There are waves at the river mouth, where it is usually very shallow and calm. No I didn't go to bathe, I don't have a death wish. The lifeguards were around too actually in pretty large groups and there are red flags all over. Crazy. The only people around were just at the shore really...wading with dogs and all.
It was beautiful though with pretty good weather!

Mid-week escapes are most excellent.
