updateness

I have a new blog to switch over for this main site, but I'll have to acquire a superhuman waking ability (where can I get this to rent?) for that one. Shit like the gallery, and other yummy art/photo goodness will most likely have to wait un poquito. Aiming for the weekend, but you never know what may pop up.

I spent half day at WINTV yesterday. Finally got to see the programming lineup (I don't get local tv at all) and check out the scenario. Groovy. I feel a lovely shade of light spring green. Hooray for paint charts. Anyway, it was my introduction to the crazy world of television production. It's such a huge difference from the slow sultry pace of say, licensing office workers. Indeed. I sort of like it (because I'm still sane and my eyes and neck don't hurt yet). It's my speed I think (famous last words). I'm not seeing anyone with spiky pink hair though so I'm slightly worried. That can be fixed with the right jedi mind control techniques right? I need to remember it's not an art place though and they're not all artists/insane etc. Am I too accustomed to oddballs? Holy shit.

John Legend is floating around in my head, mixed with some Snow Patrol, Beta Band and The Beatles. I wonder what they'd sound like all together?

Yes I know, lacking pictures... rah rah. I don't hear any of you clammering yet though so I assume I'm safe. Arthur doesn't check anymore!

Dars and I went on a random shooting spree (cameras not guns) on Saturday, so the footage and pics still have to be edited. By the way will you all e-mail her and tell her that if she doesn't sign up to FaceEvil, she'll get an account made for her, complete with pictures? Savvy.

So whose brilliant fucking idea was it to have a lovely bookstore in Trincity with comfy couches and an awesome smell? Finally!!!! I love it! All they need is a coffee machine. Trinis are going to kill it but you never know... it could work. A classy establishment was really needed. Yum-o!
Let's see how long it takes before that side looks like the other side. Ick. It's still nice and fresh so I think if I have time I'll be going back. I have to catch up on some more reading.

We dragged Dirk to see Shrek the Third on Sunday. Sigh. Clearly we need to see more good movies. We didn't get to trample any brats to get a good seat though, so no fun. Are we bad? Haha. Well at least the show wasn't interrupted by poop smells, vomit or the occasional parent having to walk outside with a screaming infant who really doesn't give an ass about a movie.

On another note, I hate MySpace.*sunshiney face* :-)

I miss you guys and really wish I could get a trip (for those of you abroad) at some point. I may be selling my soul soon however so not quite sure what's going to be happening in the next few months. I may grow another limb and that could cause serious backup at the airport. Brr.
