Well, just like i suspected, it was a boulder-dash. Stones everywhere! There were 2 girls in the room and a little while after I show up, the cuter one leaves! NOOOOO! Then it was just one flower and a heap of stones. Just as I thought the un-party was about to get better, MORE STONES showed up (7 to be disturbingly exact). Thats when I put my foot down and went on a late night Soul Caliber 2, Mortal Kombat 4 binge with my roomate and some guy from our building.
Came back from the gaming session to see my apartment occupied, with a bigger girl ratio! WOOHOO! So I chilled with James (other roomie) and his crew for a bit and then passed out at about 3. Cool night, after I took those stones out of my shoe. Wanna go catch "Spirited Away" soon, before it leaves theatres. I advise those of you with access to anime-playing movie theatres to go see it.....NOW! Oh yea, Jus? I dont know if you even read this or not (I doubt it) but could you drop a comments thingy on this site? Feels kinda lonely in here. hellooooooo!

Finished work, and heading to a 'party', which will probably turn out to be a 'social gathering' with a bunch of stones. Here's to hoping it turns out ok.

Well, now I'm finally feeling the pressure. I've just finished cussing (alot and loudly) and working my way through my Chord Lab excercises, and 'Did I Save" by Grant Geissman. The Labs were the hardest thing, as they mostly were comprised of chords that I have NEVER used, (not even discovered while writing) that completely slow me down while sight reading. This coupled with the fact that I had to look through another book to find the new chord patterns everytime that I fucked up, just made me frustrated. What's worse than that? The fact that it's due tommorow, leaving me tonight, and tommorow morning to prepare and master 3 pages of the stuff. Lemme give an example to the musically inclined: D, Am7, D9, Am7,D9, G7, Ab7, Dm7, G7, C (in a wierd position on the 3rd fret), Db7 C6/9. Try playing that! It aint easy, even when you know it, and especially if you don't. But I expect many more where those came from, and in larger doses, so I better get in shape. Went into the lab today, and started recording some tracks in Digital Performer (on the beautiful TRITON!!!!).I even made an appointment for a god-damned tutor at 9pm, but I couldn't go because of the *mad expletives* guitar practicing. So I'll just go back on Friday, since I have to practice and work tommorow. Girl situation is ok, but still not up to my old par (ooooooold par).

It's kind of interesting that Trace said that my blogs would become more and more scary. Check this out: I'm at work, and me being my natural self try to make the drudgery of work a bit more interesting. I answer the phone and this chick (who I will refer to as 'chicken' from here on out) asks, "what time do you close?" in the (becoming more 'realised' everyday) typical, Bostonian accent. So I, being the unprofessional joker that I am, respond, "What's my name? I'm sorry we can't give out that information" Which I thought was pretty funny. It wasn't. The chicken squaked, so I kept fuckin with her, and she got pissed and hung up, and I got pissed because the chicken couldn't take a joke! Remember guys, chickens are for eating, not converstation.
Anyway, everything is pretty cool otherwise. I'm kind of addicted to Mr. Bungle right now. If you don't know who that is, open your minds, and a browser window to google. I hope my Mamadukes is doing fine, I hope she doesn't miss me too much, I miss ya ma! (Awwww, how sweet)
Ross and Jus, thanks for hooking up (or was willing to) Jay with a ride. Let's hope he wins a shitload of money.....or gets into a sticky 5-some with edith and four Hungarian virgin maids (mmmm, hungarian chicken).
And think about this, how come EVERYTHING I see has America!-themed overtones in it? Ever seen the poster for Sweet Home Alabama? I don't see Reese Witherspoon, I see a fuckin America! commercial. All the print ads have America! suggestive themes or colours in them. All the people on the street are in America! t-shirts, with girls wearing tops that have America! flags covering up where cleavage would be showing! God bless America! indeed, they need it.

So I took the plunge, and ran UT2003 on my laptop. I know, shitty results, but god damn it made the latop look like a beast! I mean this game is running on 32 mb here, no 64, 128 goodness for this poor gamer, and it looks fantastic! I played online for a bit and naturally I got my ass kicked, frames dropping all over the place, but I sure enjoyed getting my laggy ass kicked. The water reflections are near-perfect; changing with contact a la ICO. The characters look improved, (even though I didn't get to see the alien skins) I can only imagine how they'll look when I get home (mmmmm...gaming heaven). I didn't see any grass on the laptop, which is kind of wierd seeing as the beta had grass, so I'm kind of upset (cause everyone knows how much I like my grass).
Work was cool, played some gungrave, it's cool if only for the anime value, total cowboy beebop/trigun.
I hear people partying outside. Wanna go where they're going, but work tommorow has me leashed like a bitch in heat on a wheelchair.

Well, week3 is over (Holy shit! Already?!). It's kinda strange, but I think I've figured out why your parents always say "enjoy school, it's a very important time in your life and it's when you're most free". When you're in school, you're so buried under work and life, that you don't even notice how quickly the world is blazing past you. Then all of a sudden, you're out, but I'm not out yet so, HA!
Ok. Ok. Settle down. Been playing Golden Sun on gbae (guess what the 'e' is for), since, at the moment I have no machine powerful enough to tame the beast that is UT2003. Fear well my friends, for I will be on soon to kill you all....someday. In the meantime however, I will enjoy the simple beauty of sprites running around on other sprites. The PURITY of it all!!
Who am I kidding....
This school thing however is becoming clearer everyday. I'm so lost in the actual school work that I realise that I'm thinking of music at least 20 hours a day. Between practicing, class, going over solfeg in my mind, doing homework and just being in a cafeteria with another 50 musicians all on the same drug.....'ludicrous speed'. It really does feel good, even though it's incredibly humbling and sometimes downright embarassing, to be around such caliber. I feel like I'm constantly learning (ahhhhh, there's the old brain kicking in.....mmmmmm). To be honest, I kinda feel like my own man too, which is a feeling that I've been eagerly anticipating since I went to Europe. Am I getting too feely?
Alright, fuck it. I'm out.

Must, somehow, get, gamecube, to Boston, quick, real, quick, aching, for, Mario Sunshine, help, inpending, release, StarFox Adventures, argh, help, Metroid in December, ache, pain, must, call, UPS, and, demand, service.
But first I gotta check up on my financial aid, cause I want my money back!

WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!! I am now truly connected! Laptop in room baby! Like a gamesystem brain implant, so fun and so essential. Now that my connection is up and running (Dell sent me a stupid phone line instead of an ethernet cable!), keeping in touch with everyone should be a million times easier and efficient (providing my lazy ass actually responds to incoming emails). Don't know when my digicam will arrive, but rest assured that you will notice when it is in my possesion. Now, I gotta go onto kazaa and get all my necessary programs in order; so that I can start getting up and coming female 'superstars' to come over and 'work' on 'stuff'. This production shit truly run tings!

Well, thank you for the gift whindian! He looks just fuckin like me too. Even with the pointy ears. First night of work last night and I must say, I can't tell which way is up this morning.....so tired. Had to wake up for a 9 oclock class, and I'm fighting the flow of the river nostril, making me look like a god damned coke addict to everyone that walks by, "No, my nose lining is fine thank you." Now I have to go to a music technology class, and without the presence of the super-smart, super-sexy austrailian girl, who passed the test out, no problem, leaving my untrained ass to cope with all this crazy jargon, "cosine waves are affected by changing the dynamics of a sound? eh?" Just hope I can stay awake through it all. Will drop some shit tomorrow, or tonight, depending on how i feel.

Yeah, it took me about 45, maybe a few minutes more to ponder what the hell I was going to do, hehehe. But now it is done!

Holy shit, wait till you guys see the site layout that jus did for my sorry ass. It completely reeks of otherworldly skill. Egads the man has talent, I bet he cranked it out in like 45 minutes too. OK, maybe that last entry wasn't THAT much of a doozy, but it was in comparison to the last fuckin 4 months of my life. Computer Gods, please send my dell post haste, I will sacrifice many a lamb for it's quick delivery. Amen.

Sunday, September 15, 2002
Well, last night was a bit of a doozy! Went to an MIT frat party with this guy J.C. from my building. On the way we spy 2 perfect 10 girls chillin on the corner, near Virgin Megastore. Several 'oooh's' and 'aaah's' later we arrive at the jam. Talk about PACKED to the brim! I swear there were about 250 people in the place, with a live funk band, people dancing, beer flowing like water, and FINE girls as far as the eye could fathom. So I go across the street to buy some cigarettes, come back and sit next to the first girl of the night. Cool chick, kinda cute, vocalist, interesting conversation. She wanted to leave at 12, so with enough chatting, i made her stay a bit over, but in the end, she left. Then, in the midst of the convo with her, i spy this other cute chick. I swear that all I did was raise my beer in acknowledgement of her presence, and she gets up and comes over and starts chatting my coolie....um ..dougla ass up! So we sit down and it's then I realise that she's one of the girls from the megastore front! Her other blazingly hot friend comes in and sits down and we all start shooting the shit. Then J.C. comes up and completes the cypher. Fire alarm goes off, everyone evacuates, and we're posed with the question, "You guys wanna go to the Blue Cat Cafe with us?"
J.C. and I look at each other and realize the answer is quite obvious. $5 buck cover? Fuck off! So it's off to the Cactus club for margaritas and rum and coke (for me). But thats where I made the wrong turn of the night. RULE IMPORTANTE: When with hot chicks, NEVER mix beer and rum and coke, stick to beer. Why, you ask? Because on the walk home you say some stupid shit about gaunorhea (did i spell that right? i don't think so) and have everyone looking at you like you're a fuckin psychopath! HUGE MISTAKE! But at least I kinda covered it up with another joke, (kinda) but I have truly learnt my lesson. No more drinking past 'suave-mode' anymore for me. Well, we got the digits and hopefully another link up in the near future. This college shit is awesome!

Saturday, September 14, 2002
ok cool, so this is it right? This thingy called a blog is going to chronicle my time and experiences in musikskool. When I get the digital cam, I'll be putting sme pics up and the usual crap that sites are made of. Oh and ignore that stupid ad on top, just pretend that it isn't there.
There was a hemp festival today in Boston Common, but I kept my ass out of there, just to be on the safe side. "...but officer! my glaucoma is just terrible! What? that's not a valid excuse?!"
Wanna go see 'the ring' tonight. hopefully it wont suck.
Oh yeah! And if you can find a 'soul caliber 2' machine, please feed the thing some quarters, it's hungry and most deserving.

woohoo it works!

testing testing one, two?
